Please take off your shoes...

Last night at church we carried on with "A Simple Christmas." It is not only about sharing our wealth during the holidays, but throughout the year. At the end of the service Don asked us all to consider taking off our shoes and leaving them on the stage. These possibly 10,000 plus pairs of shoes will be dropped off to non profit organizations all over the valley in the coming weeks. What a blessing my used sneakers will be to someone else. I guess what homeless people ask for a lot of times are white socks. White socks.... Something most of us so take for granted. What an amazing feeling it was to see so many people walking around the campus at CCV barefoot!

P.S. My Aunt and Uncle were going to church alone for the first time today... Can't wait for that phone call!
