Thankful for hanging with family

Went to visit some of Tim's family we haven't seen IN YEARS! I have to admit I was a little nervous about seeing them after so long. Tim being the one who is usually nervous about these things was completely cool with it. It was all completely unnecessary. They were so excited to see us. What a wonderful feeling that was. We have been texting the last week or so with them telling them we could hardly wait to spend Thanksgiving day with them. They invited us over early that morning for homemade pumpkin spice pancakes. They were the best pancakes I have ever had! Bar none! The moment that door popped open, they wrapped their arms around all of us. Genuine love pouring out from all of them. It was so nice.

After breakfast everyone hopped into the kitchen to help with the dinner. Luke is a really, really, really good cook. Everything was made from SCRATCH! EVERYTHING! It was like food from a fine dinging establishment. Wow!
