I charged the battery and took out the camera for Christmas.
The in-laws hosted Christmas celebrations this year.
We had a yummy Mexican dinner.
The older kids acted as our servers for the evening.
Uncle Tim was generous to his kind server. The kids then put together a short play about what I would call contentment I guess. It was cute.
Then Christmas Eve it was out to Goodyear.
Old school Suns blazer
Chris and Danni. Beautifully sweet girl!
He doesn't like opening gifts in front of others.
Aunt Sherry looks happy with her gifts.
Much needed. They are awesome.
Got his favorite game ever!
Way too much food and goodies to get us through the night.
Good company and lots of laughs
Then next up was Christmas morning at our house.
I got emotional (of course) thinking about this possibly o this being our last Christmas here at this house.
We have spent the bulk of Kates years here.
Justin most fondly remembers the Mountain Vista house.
This will be the house Kate will remember most I think.
I will just have to work real hard to make the last few years they are home the best ever!
She is laughing because I wouldnt buy her more pants a few weeks ago because I told her I had already bought her some and they were in the closet at home. So she was like after you told me that I came straight home and looked at them...hmmmmm
From Kate
These are pretty cool.
You asked for it.
Justin just wanted cash for gifts... Boring...
Tim gave him a scavenger hunt on his phone with text to find clues to hidden cash.
This one was in the back of a walkie talkie.
Waiting for a clue.
It was lots of fun.We may make that something we do every year.
The family gift the kids chose this year was a waffle make! They have put it to good use already!
It was a wonderful time. My favorite part was our Christmas Eve service.
I love hearing of all the good deeds happening in our community as a result of our church coming together to reach this valley for Christ!
