playing catch up

we are coming in on the home stretch and school will start in 17 days! kate finished her shopping a week or so ago. my aunt took her to lunch and the annual back to school shopping trip. i should have saved myself some money and had kate pick last minute things out with her. thanks so much Aunt Sherry. when you walked out the door kate said "i had so much fun with her today mom!" {heart}

justin has not bought one thing yet. he needs to get on the stick. he is tough because he knows exactly what he wants and we have to go and find it. not like we just walk in a store and he says "oh i like that." i think we will be at the mall soon.

we all have gotten in rock band the last few weeks. i threatend to take it to the goodwill because it takes up so much space (that i dont have) and they never play it. they started playing it and love it. it is fun. justin is very good at it and kate has 3 favorite songs she plays over and over and over and over....



i worked on my tv hutch that i started on Christmas break last year! it is finally done and i LOVE it! it has so much grungy goodness! it was 114 that day and i didnt like sweat dripping from my legs that is why i look "displeased."

i just fought it all summer with the algae and keeping it crystal clear... i would like to save up my earnings this year at work and put in a pool next year. Note: i would like to!
